For the last while now (way to long to admit), i have been confronted by various sources of something that i need to change immediately.
I have the ability to plan and think and strategist and contemplate and make lists and notes about ideas I have.
There are new business ventures i want to pursue, new ideas i want to implement, goals that need to be achieved etc.
My way of pursuing these things consisted of finding the best way to do this. See how others have been doing it. Consider the different options available. Discussing this with friends. Then going back to the initial idea and re-think it.
This has got to stop!
I am not saying planning is a bad thing. I have however found that my planning has prevented me from learning what can only be learnt by doing. That is a bad thing.
This blog is testimony to my new conviction. I have planned and designed various personal blogs in the past, but was never 100% happy. This blog will definitely change in the future, but for now i am happy that i have one. The clarity and direction will grow from the action and not from a 5 year plan.
Here’s to “doing and learning” instead of “planning and waiting”!
