When Christine and myself started talking about the idea of presenting a workshop on Social Media, i was quite apprehensive to be honest. The idea of talking for a couple of hours on something that so many people find common knowledge made me wonder if we would truly be adding value to someone who takes the time to attend.

The more i thought about it, chatted with friends and chose to challenge myself, the more appealing the idea became. So after some planning and throwing ideas around, Christine & i decided to go fo it!

So Friday the 28th of January, 2011 was the day of the fist Social Media Workshop presented by myself and  Christine Meintjes (my awesome wife).

The experience was great and we learned so much ourselves. Whenever i meet people who are willing to take the plunge and work at building their own business, i cannot help but be tremendously inspired. Seeing people getting excited about the new opportunities to sieze and asking questions about their newly acquired knowledge was surprisingly rewarding!
